Google AdSense is one of the significant numerous ways of getting paid as a blogger. So getting a verified approved Google Adsense account is a dream come through for most newbies bloggers.
But unfortunately getting an approved account is really not that easy, because Google Adsense teams take their time to review every application manually to make sure that every publisher meets their rules and regulations.
This is where many newbies into the blogging business get it all wrong. To be frank with you, if there are any organizations that take their rules and regulations very strictly, it is the almighty Google itself.
So if you want to wine and dine with them on the same plate, then you must be ready to take the time to abide by their rules and regulations before getting an approved account from them.
I see many who are new to the blogging space rush to set up unprofessional blogs, and just copy some crappy article from here and there and slam it on their blog, then run to apply for a Google Adsense account hoping for a miracle to happen.
In or worst-case scenario, some go as far as copying articles on the web and using an article spinner to spin the content. But still, in the end, they get the shocker of their life. Which is always a denial from the AdSense team.
Before we proceed further with the right method of getting an approved Google Adsense account, Incase if you’re totally new to blogging and don’t know what Google Adsense is, let me explain what it’s really all about.
What’s Google Adsense All About?
Google Adsense is an advertisement platform owned and managed by Google LLC. The platform enables advertisers to place ads on Google and get targeted audiences to their websites or businesses.
And also Google platform gives publishers like you and me the opportunity of placing the ads of advertisers on our websites or blogs and earning money on every click we generate.
So meaning the money we and Google split are from the advertisers. With this knowledge in mind, you’ll understand perfectly well what Google wants you to do and put it in place first before they can consider approving you to become a publisher on their platform.
What Google Adsense Team Wants You To Have In Place Before Applying For Adsense Account.
If you must know, Google is only after serving its users and advertisers with only quality services and content.
So, therefore, they can’t compromise on the quality standards they’ve put in place, which are their rules and regulations or better still terms and policies.
If you want to get an approved Google Adsense account as fast as possible, I will advise you to go through the whole process diligently and follow the right method.
Here is the list of things to do before applying for Google AdSense if you want to get approved on the first attempt without getting rejected.

Have a good design and setup blog that is both user and mobile friendly
I had a friend who wanted to start blogging, he got really popped up after he saw My one-month earnings screenshot. He rushes and setup a poorly-looking blog and starts slamming all sorts of crappy content on it.
This is what most newbies do which is not right. How will you feel after rushing and doing things in the wrong way and you get rejected at last? You feel down right? Yes, that’s exactly what happens.
Listen! Blogging is a real business, so you need to start a blog like a new start-up business. You need to plan it out from the onset and put in your time, Resources, and energy.
Get a well-designed WordPress blog that is user-friendly and you’ll be good. There are several nice themes you can get started with for free like the huemen theme.
2. Choose A niche and write unique original content for your blog and readers.
Before you decide on starting a blog, you need to choose a niche or an area of focus you are going to be written about. E.g. health, insurance, weight loss, relationship, sport, or any hobby at all.
A blog is really a niche focus thing, which attracts people interested in that niche you write about. Once you figure out the niche you want to blog about, coming up with original content won’t be rocket science for you.
Many get it all wrong here, which leads to their failure of getting approval from Google. To be sincere, many new to blogging are really lazy or not really knowledgeable about the niche they choose to blog.
So they resort to copying articles from the web and using spinner software to spin or rewrite contents that don’t look professional and always get a penalty for that.
Some even go to the length of posting crappy written articles on their blog which is not right. This one is among the major reason Google Adsense Team will reject your application.

Google hate duplicated or plagiarised content. Google wants you to write unique and original content which belongs to you.
Because writing unique original content helps build up your traffic fast, and attracts and retains new readers.
If you are not good at writing or you hate writing, then my advice is to find a good writer and pay them. You can get good writers who charge affordable prices on various freelancing sites.
Invest either your time in researching and writing good content for your blog or be ready for someone to do the job for you.
It will save you some time wasting. Remember time is the most precious commodity we have.
3. Have All The Necessary Pages in place.
Yes! This one is very important. Google wants to see all those Pages that indicate that your blog is abiding by their rules and regulations and that your blog is not violating any user right or breaking any country’s laws.
If you don’t have this page on your blog, there is a high chance that your AdSense application may get rejected.
What Are These Pages?
- About US Page
- Contact Us Page
- Privacy Policy
- Disclaimer Page (optional)
To save you the stress and time wasting, just ensure you have these pages in their appropriate position. For the “About US” Page, you can write something brief and nice about yourself or your blog.
For the “Contact US” Page, you can use the contact form 7 plugin to generate that page. Then for your Privacy Policy and Disclaimer Pages, you can Google for tools online that will help you generate them.
As I said, it’s very important you have these pages ready on your blog before you make any attempt of applying for an Adsense account.
4. Number Of Posts That You Should On Your Blog.
Actually, Google did not really state the number of posts new publishers or bloggers should have on their website or blog before they can decide to apply for an Adsense account.
But from my own experience throughout the years, it’s advisable you have at least 10 unique original posts on your blog.
Remember, I said unique original content or blog post. With these 10 blog posts on your blog, Google crawlers or bots will be able to determine what really your blog is all about and serve your blog to people who are interested in your topics.
Is having 10 blog posts too much for a beginner or too small? Well if you ask me, who should I ask🤣🤣? Lols just kidding.
But the truth is that 10 blog posts is not much and also not too small. But the golden rule is that if you can go above 10 posts, you’ll have higher odds of generating traffic fast and getting approved for a Google Adsense account.
5. How Long Should Your Blog Be Aged Before Going To Apply For Google Adsense Account?
In years past, you can literally start a blog today, post some good content on the blog within a week or 2, request AdSense account approval, and get approved.
But right now, the case is different. Currently, it’s advisable you allow your blog to stay a month or two. This way, google will see you’ve been able to grow your blog to an extent.
And also be able to go through your blog and understand what’s really all about and the best audience to serve ads on your blog too of and all that.
With this 1 or 2 months you’re just starting your blog, so remove your mind from the money you will be making.
And focus on writing good content that readers will love. Write content that answers questions, informs people, entertains readers, and solves a problem.
By the time you decide to apply for a Google AdSense account, you will definitely be approved.
Conclusion.
The reason why many newbies don’t get approved is that they are always in a hurry which leads them to failure.
Before you start a blog, plan it well, and choose a niche you want to work with. I Will advise you to stay away from anything sports or entertainment niches.
Those niches are too saturated, which you can’t meet up with my dear. There are some nice niches you can pick and start seeing progress with them.
